The single most common question I get is: “what should my first build be?” The honest answer is — it depends entirely on how you picture yourself flying.
Freestyle is the all-rounder. A durable 5", usually 6S, tuned for power loops, dives and proximity. If you want to learn, crash, rebuild and have fun, start here.
Racing rigs are lighter, higher-KV and tuned for raw speed and snap response. They're less forgiving and built around a class and a track.
Cinematic builds — cinewhoops and cine-lifters — prioritise smooth, stable footage over agility. Great if your goal is the shot, not the trick.
Not sure? That's completely normal. Tell me how you want to fly and I'll spec the right starting point — you can always build a second rig once you know what you love.
